The motel is at the base of an exit off of the Blue Ridge parkway and it looked cute from the outside. There was a very nice and helpful man who checked us in and directed us to the ice machine and our room. Since the room was only $59.00 a night we did not have high expectations. We expected it to be dated which it was. The carpet looked fairly new. The walls looked like old unkept mobile home walls. The worst was the bathroom.
