I was referred to Dr. Jens Buelow in 2021 for left TTT surgery, and just recently had my right knee done in January of this year. I’m incredibly grateful for Dr. Buelow’s expertise and his conservative approach to treatment. What an AWFUL EXPERIENCE from Mr Buelow who has no carefactor whatsoever. The alarm bells should have gone off at my first consultation. Jens seemed irritated when I asked any questions about what to expect before and after surgery. He said even though I had bone on bone in my knee I was too young to operate on so "we just clean it out". After the op there was no follow up from him or to tell me how the operation went. This review is being left purely because of the unwillingness of the receptionist who initially took my call and said "no," when I asked if she could answer a couple of questions, and Dr Ulrich's secretary who could not provide the answer to what I was looking for. The receptionist alone would be enough to make you want to choose another office if you had the option to pick. This review is absolutely not based on Dr Buelow himself, who I'm sure is a fantastic surgeon.
Came with glowing recommendations and the whole process of a full knee replacement from first meet to operation, only took a week. Consummate professional who is a great communicator and has a very calming manner to calm any nerves. An added bonus he teams up with an anaesthetic of similar talent in his field As I’ve had this procedure 7 years ago I have a benchmark to compare with. Last time I was literally black n blue on my whole lower torso . Not a single mark this time Highly recommended
