Avoid this company. Center State Propane in Afton was unreliable and expensive. I was on automatic delivery and still had repeated propane run-outs, followed by added leak test fees. That’s distressing when you depend on propane for heat. After the initial year, prices were no longer competitive. I finally switched providers and immediately saved money. Not the same Buel Fuels anymore. I was quite satisfied with their services in years prior. But this winter it has gone to the bottom. I have had heating oil ordered for almost 4 weeks now, and left them 2 voice mails(nobody would answer, no matter how long I listened to their auto receptionist say they would be with me shortly) telling them my tank was almost empty. Likes to leave people without heat for multiple days while saying “someone will be out.” Will also make a delivery but not fill the tanks and doesn’t come back to actually fill them. Hire better employees so you can actually do your jobs!

My 65 yr old mother has gone almost 20 days yes 20 DAYS without heat after being told she’d get her delivery multiple times. My mother could freeze to death or get deathly ill before you guys would deliver the fuel. Absolutely disgusting and horrible that people have to BEG for their home to be heated with cash in hand. I changed over from another well known local company (I won't name) to these guys and I couldn't be happier. They made it so smooth and easy to transition. They even went above and beyond to get things done sooner. So far they have earned 5 stars and I don't see it changing anytime soon.
