EDIT BASED ON RESPONSE: When I first emailed you, asking questions to get an idea of what happened during your 30 minutes of run time, after which the car would no longer start, you replied saying that all your notes are on the invoice. Your invoice says, "looked in the cylinder walls with a camera. We found an unusual substance on the top of the pistons, we would need to further disassemble to determine what it is." But if you knew what it was (carbon), and had evidence of pre-existing damage (pictures), why wasn't I notifi... read more

I needed considerable work done on my 1956 Pontiac. Previous body repair done on the car before I purchased it needed to be redone. Bud's brought the body back to the correct appearance. I also had a persistent leak from the transmission which they correctly diagnosed and corrected. They are my "Go To" shop for fixing my old cars.

I was so excited to finally own a classic car — a 1975 Chevy Impala with a freshly installed 383 stroker engine. They had previously painted my motorcycle saddlebags and charged plenty.I got a chip on one bag so they gave me a price.I went to pickup the saddlebag and the chip was still visible. To make the chip disappear they would have to charge me more. This was not what we agreed to.I had to pay up or I could not leave with the saddlebag. Now I see dirt in the paint that was not there before.
