⭐ 1 Star (wish I could give 0 stars) Booked a truck at Budget Truck Rental on Bryne and was not told anything about a required deposit or the need for a credit card at the time of booking. When I arrived to pick up the truck, I was informed that a credit card was mandatory, which I wasn’t prepared for since this was never mentioned. Never rent a car from here. I knew it would snow, so I booked an AWD SUV in advance, but they gave me an FWD car instead. The car was not even going forward, and I was worried I might crash. I went back and asked them to replace the car, but they refused. Because of the risk, I decided to buy extra insurance from them to protect myself, even though my credit card already provides rental coverage. Changing my review, they are just horrid to deal with, im guessing they are getting subsidized from the Canadian government for their hiring practices. I will forever avoid Budget from here on in.
