Terrible service. I booked the car online. I called to confirm its availability, but they told me it was available and ready. I had a friend drive me there. Once I arrived, the same person who had confirmed the car's availability told me it had never been available. He rudely denied everything I'd called, and offered no alternative solution or assistance.

Terrible service! The vehicle was dirty when I picked it up. There was sand, food in the cup holders, and melted chocolate in the back. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it right away (lesson learned), so I cleaned it out myself before my trip. When I returned the car, in a cleaner condition than I received it, I was told I’d be charged $450 if I didn’t go vacuum it. BELIEVE THE ONE STAR REVIEWS!!! I booked a cargo van for a one-way move three weeks in advance. I received confirmation from Budget but when I went in to pick it up, the agent told me that he had no record of it. I explained that I had a valid reservation number, which he looked up and said that it didn’t exist and that there was nothing that he could do. I was in a bind at the last minute on 04/11/2025. Went to the budget rental place in Todd shopping center. Everytime I come it’s the same man working and when I tell you I had top notch customer service by him, he did just that. Had me out in 15 mins. He came through for me and if I could give 100 stars for his help and service I would. Never had an issue going there and that’s why I will always continue to use Budget because of people like him.

Teresa was the BEST! Newport News Airport refused to help us with our reservation that was prepaid and told us to go to the one in Hampton ( For a reason that was a lie!) But when we got there she did everything in her power to help us and get us the vehicle that we wanted! She was AMAZING and would 100% recommend her!
