DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! Very dishonest business! Promised refund for error in charging credit card. Been 6 months and after numerous phone calls they still have not refunded money.

There in Alamo visiting from San Antonio for holidays. Needed an oil change for my return trip. Tech did not install the oil filter correctly, half way home stopped for gas and checked the oil and it was empty. I had to buy up all the 0-20w oil autozone in Ft Stockton had to get home cause not much open at 6pm on a Sunday there. Called back to Kwik lube manager did not return calls and when I finally got a hold of him all he offered was to pay me back for the oil I bought in ft Stockton. The company was very easy to get in contact with and very friendly. They even called me when the system overbooked a truck (willing to give me a bigger truck at the same price as the smaller if the first reservation confirmed). The interior of the truck was clean though the windshield could have used a good wiped down. The truck ran perfectly though I wish they could have gave us a bit of warning about how big the gas tank was (an 1/8th of a tank of gas = $16 at the pump). Dont rent from these guys, the 3 times we had to use them was a nightmare. The place is very dirty and run down. First time we had a reservation with them and they magically didnt have a truck for us. Forcing us to go to Van Nuys to rent. Second and third time they over charged us $50 each time because the fuel wasnt all the way full even though we made sure it was both times even going back to the gas station the first time. Unprofessional – I have a car with a third-party warranty service and Meinert's is one of only two places in the city authorized to perform work for the warranty company. When I was having car problems, which I had hoped were under warranty I took my car there. After inspecting the vehicle they found 2 problems. One was causing the immeidate problem and was not covered by warranty so I had them fix that right away.
