Room 123. You get what you pay for. This is the first time I have left a negative review for a hotel. I don't like to do that because this is a family's livelihood, but we want others to know our experience. The ratings were high for the price, so we took a chance thinking it might be a hidden gem...recent reno and such. The good points...Staff was friendly, it was clean, there were two nightstands where we could both plug in our chargers, and the shower was hot with good pressure. Now for the drawbacks. The Budget Lodge is in a great central location, minutes from Midtown and the Inn if the Mtn. Gods. You are also in walking distance to the Dollar General. The rooms are large, beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains are a bonus! The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. And they are pet friendly sm/lg dogs. A big thank you to Mac and his family ! Stephanie

We were very surprised with the quality of Budget Lodge. They are putting in new flooring in all the rooms. The breakfast was great plenty of food to eat. We will go back again. The price was worth it.

We came down for weekend getaway. We were surprised how nice and clean it is. Rooms very well kept. Outside was clean too. My husband and I are not much more than coffee drinkers for breakfast but it was very good. For the price we paid for 2 nights we got more than we expected. Staff was very nice. Walls were a little thin but we just turned the TV up and left it on. But we will definitely come back here.
