I STAYED AT THIS MOTEL FOR 1 WEEK WHILE WORKING AT CHERRY POINT.. THIS MOTEL IS INFESTED WITH ROACHES AND BED BUGS!!! THE MANAGEMENT IS RUDE AND CLAIMED NOT TO HAVE REGISRTATION CARDS... SHE BECAME ANGREE AND AGRESSIVE WHEN I WOULDN'T PAY WITH CASH? WHILE THERE I HEARD HER YELL AT OTHER GUESTS FROM THE PARKING LOT TO THE UPPER LEVEL OF THE MOTEL! THE OWNER OF THIS MOTEL(MICHAEL C.) ALSO OWNS RAPS BAR AND GRILL IN MOREHEAD CITY, I CAN'T BELIEVE THAT HE ALLOWS THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR AT HIS MOTEL!
The Budget Inn has spacious rooms; they resemble a small 1 bedroom apartment. The staff was low at the time of our stay. I guess one reason for that was the sweaty smelling sheets & pillows. Overall I would say it is a nice hotel to stay for the price just bring your own sheets...lol
