We were traveling with my family to the Grand Canyon, and we decided to stay the night in Williams. After looking at a fancy new place down the road with a fancy price, we stopped in to the Budget Host. The owner was very friendly and the rate was very reasonable. The rooms were fine. Not real fancy, but clean and comfortable, which is what we wanted. We had a good, quiet night's sleep and I certainly wouldn't hesitate staying there again on future trips.
While traveling to the Grand Canyon, stopped for the night in Williams and saw "vacancy" sign and was pleasantly surprised! While nothing fancy, great value for the price and even had mircowave, fridge and DirecTVwhich was an added plus! Bed was very comfy and fantastic location! We ended up staying 2 nights!
Rooms were really cute. Maid obviously forgot to check the dresser drawers from guest before us, but room was clean. Rooms are updated. I would stay there again. Lots to do around the hotel. Close to I-40. Grocery store, restaurants, gas stations, gift shops, etc. Only 55 miles from the Grand Canyon. Great price. Very simple. Staff was friendly. Really cute little town too.
We stayed here one night on our way to Kingman, although the weather was cold, the motel room had an excellent heater, the bed was comfortable, room clean and the price was the best we found as we had asked at various motels and they all seemed to be expensive for the size of the town. The manager was very helpful and lent us a coffee pot so we could have our evening cup of tea. Another plus the Wifi is free. Breakfast was coffee and muffin and was ok. The motel is centrally located in Williams and plenty of shops and restau... read more
After a bad experience at another Inn close by, I wasn't about to go anywhere without reading some reviews for places to stay in Williams. I narrowed it down to Budget Host. It was clean and customer service was great. The place was full by night fall but still quiet. Best of all besides it being clean and affordable...the wifi was up and FAST. All in all, an easy stay, just the way it should be. As a eco-friendly traveler, I appreciated the fact that while the room had a microwave and fridge...they were both unplugged but c... read more
We stopped off here on the way to the Grand Canyon. We hadn't booked anything so stopped in buy chance they had vacancies. The price was reasonable and the room was comfortable. It had everything we needed. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast in reception was good, cereals and coffee. But the coffee was awful. It was free though so can't complain. It's in a great location in a great village on Route 66. Would definitely recommend.
we went around town comparing prices and rooms, this was the best one we found. The gentleman at front desk was one of the nicest person I have ever meet. Room very nice and clean smelled fresh, only two blocks from historic downtown williams on rt.66.
We decided to stay at William on our way back to Vegas after a long road trip. Tried a couple of motels in town which were expensive. Decided to try this to see if it lived up to its name. It was cheap and cheerful. Owner very nice. Room clean with fridge and microwave. EXCELLENT WIFI. On the outskirts but an easy walk into town. Would certainly stay again and recommend to others.
