The car was brand new and easy to drive. When I needed to extend my hire a couple of times it was no trouble. Very happy with my experience and will recommend Budget to others.
Very poor experience with Budget on 9 May around 9am. When I arrived at the counter, the staff member appeared more interested in chatting with an Avis employee than assisting customers. When I approached, it felt like I had interrupted their conversation rather than being welcomed as a customer. Seamless and easy.
I had a very disappointing experience with Budget Direct. While they advertise competitive pricing, I found their policies to be surprisingly expensive once all the costs were revealed. There were additional charges that were not clearly explained upfront, which felt misleading. We were initially quoted $697 for the rental plus a $200 deposit, but we ended up paying around $1500 due to hidden costs and fees that were never properly explained.
