Great service at the counter when we arrived on 10/8/26. It could help if there was signage saying that the Avis counter is also the Budget counter in the international terminal. Vehicle was brand new and in excellent condition and ready for us at the agreed time. They also have a sticker on the windscreen to scan with latest photos of condition of the car which you can also add to when you pick up. The lady who served us with dark curly hair was SO lovely. Sweet, informative, told us all about what it was like living in Cairns year round, and super prompt with her service too. Really exceptional experience, when usually car hire can be a bit of a bore or even a chore so thank you!

The pick up experience at the booth was super slow but after that, we were happy with everything else. Received a great quality newer model car. Finding the car at the lot was smooth and drop off at Cairns airport was easy too and just directly across from the terminal so it was very convenient.

Achtung Betrüger, kassieren den vollen Betrag xon 5'500 für keinen Schaden, repariert wird es aber nicht, dazu kommen unverschämte und unfreundliche Mitarbeiter, am liebsten Budget ganz meiden

They were very helpful at Cairns Airport when we ran into trouble with a flat tire. That is when we were able to actually talk to a human.
