I had a very bad experience with Budget Cars Auckland and feel strongly that others should be aware before doing business with them. I travelled all the way from Wellington to Auckland to pick up a car I had placed a deposit on. I confirmed with the salesperson (Chris) that the car would be ready by 11 AM, but when I arrived on time, the car was not ready. We had a very disappointing experience with Budget Cars. After making the payment and travelling all the way to pick up the car on the agreed date, we were shocked by the treatment we received. The car had clear faults on the day of pickup, including issues that should have been resolved before handing it over. Instead of addressing our concerns professionally, the owner, Arthur, behaved in an extremely rude and aggressive manner towards both me and my husband.
