I had an extremely misleading experience with Budget at Los Angeles Airport. My online reservation clearly shows that no additional equipment or services were selected. Personal Accident Insurance (PAE) and Personal Effects Protection (PEP) were both marked “Declined.” The Loss Damage Waiver and third-party liability coverage were already included in my prepaid reservation. The worst experience I’ve ever had with a car rental company. I came in at my reservation time and they said that they had no cars. They said they would call me back after an hour. I never got the call and I had to physically go again in person. They still said they had no cars and I had to force them to get me a replacement. None of these people are competent.
SCAMMERS. Just use another location. This location does everything to charge extra without notice and hope you don't notice it. I fuelled up right before going this and they tried to charge me (after they said "I'm good to go") 40 USD for not having the tank full. TOTAL SCAM.
Made a reservation weeks in advance, when I showed up they didn’t have any cars. Waited an hour and a half, still nothing. Terrible experience along with many other upset people. Not reliable.
