I don't recommend Budget & Avis (they are one company in Madison). First of all, there was a huge line and long wait when picking up the car. Only one worker on desk. Second, I reserved an SUV, but they had none left, and I had to settle for a sedan. Finally, on top of everything, they gave me a car with a ton of hail damage. Lady worker told me about the hail damage after I had paid and signed all the documents. Of course, they still charged me full price and offered no discount. Evade Budget & Avis at Dane County Airport!

Unreal experience. I’ve called the local location and left numerous messages, I’ve tried the corporate chat, phone and nothing. I rented a car for 1 day and was charged for an entire week. I have pictures of the car returned in the lot that include the license plate and odometer, I can certainly prove that I departed shortly there after and yet I was charged almost $900 and NO ONE will help.

I had a very good experience with Budget at the Madison Truax airport. Both Tristan and Chloe were warm and professional. The car, a Kia e6, was lovely to drive. Picking up and dropping off was a breeze. I'd had to extend my trip an additional day and that was as simple as a 2 minute phone call. I'd definitely rent from them again
