Great service. Got bonus upgrade.
For the second time in 4 years (at LaGuardia & now Wichita) I was given a large gas guzzling SUV instead of the intermediate SUV I had reserved. This cost me at least $50 more in gas than should have been for a 3day rental. I could also barely get in & out of it as my mild disability found the running boards hard and painful to manage. From now on I'll choose any other car rental agency besides Budget for these and a host of other poor customer service experiences.
No problems, we paid in advance and pick up was easy.
If I could give them a -10/10 I would! Budget rental as a whole is a complete rip off! Overly priced, charging me for a whole windshield bc of a chip. No one in customer svcs speaks English. Claims person does not return calls. Management just puts it off on the next person. 1 car for 6 day trip is costing me $1200 after paying for windshield chip. Will never, never rental from budget again!!
Definitely will not use Budget again if possible. Landed around midnight after a long travel day for work. Rented a car ahead of time which they didn’t have when I went to pick it up. The only car available was a very steep price increase OR a 15 passenger van… couldn’t cancel because it was a negotiated contract through my job.
