Avoid Budget Rental Car – Costly and Frustrating Experience This was an incredibly frustrating experience from start to finish. I made a reservation using a credit card that Budget allowed during the booking process. When I arrived at the counter, I was suddenly told they do not accept that card. Instead of canceling or properly correcting the issue, they ran the rental on a different credit card and told me I would have to contact Budget’s customer service myself to resolve the original charge. I am an art dealer and have seasons where I travel quite a bit. I have used several car rental companies and rent anywhere from 1 day to 1 month at a time. I can say with certainty that I will never rent from this location again. 1. When I arrived, the garage was open, the gate was open, the side door was open but noone was present.
