This Budget Car Rental at Helena Airport was a lifesaver for me and my wife. We reserved a full size SUV three weeks in advance to be picked up in Michigan for a trip to visit our son and his family in Helena. Fifteen minutes before pickup in Michigan we received a call telling us no cars were available. If i could give a 0 I would. Horrible customer service , I prepaid for my rental with Expedia and when I got to the counter they asked my husband for id and card , didnt specify it needed to be the 1 I made the prepaid rental with Expedia. So when they slid his car it charged me 857.00 , overdrew my bank account when I explained i already paid and had my receipt from Expedia they did not care, they were unwilling to do anything and said i need to deal with Expedia when its not expedias screw up... If I could give negative stars, I would. I am SHOCKED at how rude and unprofessional the person at the counter was. My husband forgot his debit card, so we were trying to pay online, but it was not showing up. The only credit card he had on him had a lower limit, so we couldn't use it for both the deposit and the rental amount. The clerk told my husband, yes, he really said this, that it wasn't his fault we could not afford it, and was so hostile the entire interaction. Mind you, my husband was so calm and cordial.
