If I could give negative stars, I would. I am SHOCKED at how rude and unprofessional the person at the counter was. My husband forgot his debit card, so we were trying to pay online, but it was not showing up. The only credit card he had on him had a lower limit, so we couldn't use it for both the deposit and the rental amount. The clerk told my husband, yes, he really said this, that it wasn't his fault we could not afford it, and was so hostile the entire interaction. Mind you, my husband was so calm and cordial. Rachael was a super star and took care of us with a problematic vehicle we drove up from Denver. She jumped thru hoops to make it right. Give her a raise.

If I could give them 0 I would. The short conclusion is use a different company, don’t use Budget, it’s not worth the aggravation or risk. We booked a large car for our family of 6 three months ahead and used Budget as they were the only car rental company that would allow us to pick up in Helena and drop in Seattle. We usually use Hertz or Avis but for this reason only changed to Budget. When we arrived at Helena airport we were told that they had no large cars big enough for our family, and that we had to drop the car back... read more

My wife had an accident that caused us to cut our trip short. We called Budget customer service to change the return location and were told that we would be charged with theft of the vehicle if we didn't return it to the original reservation destination. Rachel was able to help us out and change the reservation so that we could get home from Bozeman. Wonderful service by Rachel.
