Budget stole 276.00 from me. I had a credit because I turned the vehicle in early. The agent at their counter told me they do this to people all the time. I was told to never prepay, but how do you do that. Apparently Budget thinks once you have paid it is all theirs no matter what. Westjet steals from us too, but at least they leave the money in our account to use for a bit. Not Budget, they are thieves. That is a lot of money to steal. Definitely very disappointed in my rental. Booked an SUV online which showed was available, then was told the vehicle I was looking for was not available, then the next surprise was the quoted online price is VERY misleading since there are ZERO km included in your rental. You are billed $0.38 per KM as soon as you sign the paperwork and turn the leys in the ignition. We desperately needed a rental so unfortunately we took one in the chin and signed the rental agreement for the vehicle which was NOT the vehicle we booked. Th... read more
