I have been a long time customer, but I will NEVER rent with you again. You send me a letter 6 months later for unspecified damage that I owe for without any proof or explanation. For all I know your weed-smoking car porters caused it. Absolute loser of a company to pull this nonsense on loyal customers. Pathetic.
These people are scammers here and I implore you do not rent from this location. I returned a car this past Monday and I filled up the gas tank only a few short blocks away as there are many gas stations on 66th Street. I told the guy that the tank was full when I returned it. They still proceeded to bill me $15.99 for fuel service. I would not have caught this had I not reviewed my credit card statement. There is absolutely no reason for them to bill me this charge.
Rented a vehicle from this Budget location and experienced a serious mechanical failure mid-trip due to what was clearly a maintenance oversight. While traveling cross-country, the vehicle overheated and displayed an engine shutoff warning, forcing us to pull onto a very narrow highway shoulder in mountainous Virginia with high-speed traffic. Mixed feelings about this location. Overall, I don’t recommend it. On the positive side, the staff were pleasant and helpful enough. I was allowed to return the car nearly 2 weeks early for a reduced total bill due to a change in circumstances (*note, this was only because I did not pay in full in advance and had used the car for at least 99 hours).
