As soon as I pulled up I knew they didn’t have what we had reserved. Walked in told them we reserved a luxury crossover and was shown a luxury sedan with zero leg room in the back. The guy working there didn’t give a damn after we told him we’re canceling our reservation and said “Sounds good”. DO NOT RENT from Budget. It’s a slim chance you’ll get the car you actually reserve. This is the second time this has happened. They don’t care how they throw a wrench in your plans. No consideration for their customers.

We arrived to pick up the vehicle we had reserved, but during the process, the representative asked for proof of our personal auto insurance. We were surprised, as we had already purchased insurance for the rental through the company and we had rental car insurance through our credit cards and didn’t realize a separate policy was required. I wish I could give 0 stars, because they don’t deserve even 1. I had a car reserved for a long-distance trip. I arrived to pick up the car and was told that they didn’t have a car available but would have one in 30 minutes. I returned 45 minutes later to a hand written sign on the locked door that states “clean car in 15-30 minutes.” When the agent finally arrived he stated that he did not have a car for me. DO NOT RENT HERE.

Called and left me a voicemail 1 hour before pickup that they wouldn’t have a vehicle available. Called back but could only get through to the call center who couldn’t help at all. Drove into the location and the were just as unhelpful as the offshore call center.

Extremely disappointing experience, by far the worst I’ve had with any rental company, and I rent frequently from various locations across the country. The customer service was atrocious. When I asked to speak with a manager, the woman at the counter (who identified herself as “Sue”) told me there wasn’t one. When I then asked for a supervisor, she replied, “I am the Supervisor.” Very unprofessional, rude and dismissive. I strongly recommend avoiding this location and perhaps Budget altogether.
