Wish I would’ve listened to the reviews before booking through this Budget rental. Had an absolute nightmare of an experience with them. We had our whole girls trip planned and scheduled and I booked our reservation for 12:00pm. When we got there to get our vehicle there was no car available for us. Please explain to me how you make a reservation for a car online, pick a date & time, and then when you arrive you have no car? The guy working at the front desk was more than unhelpful. Made the reservation one month in advance and they didn’t have the vehicle refused to help me had to file a chargeback to get the money back
Our experience budget car rental was horrific from the time we started with the reservations till the end of the transaction that they canceled in error and wanted us to pay an extra $77 to make new reservation. Also they didn’t have the car that we wanted. They only had one car on the lot. The guy that worked the counter was so rude and not helpful at all and should not be in any kind of customer service positions. when I called the main 800 number someone, they cannot speak good english. I missed my 5 day pre-paid reservation by 1 hour. Operator said my reservation was forfeit and was going to charge me another full reservation fee foe another vehicle. Called budget and they refunded me, they said his action is completely against their policy. Owner of the franchise is a cheat.
