We had booked a car rental reservation for a midsize SUV. Once we showed up, they had a single sedan available and were not able to adjust our pricing on the spot if we agreed to take that vehicle. Ended up having to book another reservation at a nearby location for a midsize SUV where the price was more than the original reservation and they didn’t open for another 2 hours after our original pickup time. Don’t make a reservation system if you don’t honor reservations.
Do NOT return your truck here! I tried to return it on time and they were closed and had their key drop box taped up so it couldn’t be used. I called customer service and they said i wouldn’t be charged for a late return. I came back the next day and they charged me $260! Return your truck literally anywhere else! And why was the key drop box taped up, anyway?
After that awful interaction at the 1980 Broadway location we had to reach out to corporate and the lovely gentleman on the phone directed us in the direction of the 4800 E Evans Ave and that’s where we found Dan the man, he welcomed us with charisma and hospitality. He profusely apologized for the service that we had already experienced and got right to fixing the problem. I would not recommend this location I got scammed and over charged and no refunds back to my bank account which is not right. I will have to escalate this to better business bureau for scammed practice here. Due to a "system glitch" I was over charged more than 200 dollars from my reservation cost. The front desk guy said I will get a credit back once the rental is returned. And he gave me the keys to the rental there was no inspection done. Horrible!! Van broke down and they still won’t give back refund or deposit!!! They do nothing to help!!!!
