Beware of renting from Budget internationally. I reserved a car out of the Rome airport in Italy in Sept 2025. I was charged approximately 3x the amount quoted to me. There was no damage to the car. Most of the extra cost was in insurance, but I had been very clear what coverage I wanted when I reserved the car. The woman at the counter in Italy promised to correct it but didn't. I was incredibly impressed with Holly's customer service. I had a difficult rental problem and she was able to unknot it for me. This is what customer service should be like everywhere.
