faulty vehicle. customer service is a joke. UPDATE: was able to reach local office via phone after several attempts. the staff were great- helpful and efficient in resolving the issue. cooperate call center remains a joke. SUGGESTION: provide an email address for the local office so that customers can contact them without wasting time on the corporate call center.
I wish I could give 1 star, because they don’t even deserve that. Since I arrived in Colorado, this has been the worst experience I’ve had in my life. To sum it up, I picked up a car at the Denver airport, and they gave me the wrong one on top of that, it was a huge car that used an insane amount of gas, like something meant for 10 people. I took the car because they told me I could exchange it the next day, but when the next day came, they didn’t change it. The car broke down - due to it not being serviced - it said gear shift needed to be service and that the software had to be updated. so I had to get it towed - they charged an extra $250 fees when the towing had nothing to do with me - the car said it needed a service one day into the rental. They even charged me late fees to get the car home even though it was at the mechanics and I had nothing to do with returning it. Cost $780 to not have a car. Don’t ever rent with budget.
