Bad experience with this Budget location. Poor customer service. Forced to take an EV because it ran out of gasoline cars. Had to learn about the car that is so different than anything else in a very short time.
Worst car rental experience ever. I paid for a rental car as part of am American Airlines vacation package. The line at PDX was long and slow. They made me pay a $250 deposit at the counter. After I returned the car, I got an email saying my total was $113. Budget owes me money. I've called them twice and emailed as well. They haven't refunded me anything and probably don't plan to. They are disorganized and dishonest. I've used Budget many, many times, but I will never use them again. Ever.
Wouldn’t give me me a gas car. Have to figure out where to charge the car. If I could give zero stars I would.
I am going to have to agree with the other reviewers that budget is extremely frustrating. Went to fast track with our fast track number and was told they could not help us there because we booked through a third party even though the reservation showed up in our fast track app. Went down to the counter and waited in line for an hour and then they said - why didn’t you go to the third floor? Very long line trying to get the car. Then got fast talked into an upgrade which sounded like it was going to be just a little more. After the trip, I was going through the bills and it actually cost us a couple hundred more for the week. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and helpful, which took me off my guard. Oh yeah, the car was low on wiper fluid and we ran out during the week and had to refill it ourselves.
