These car rental companies get worse by the day. Forget about customer service. The company is too big and they don't care. Turo is a much more simple and cost effective option. Highly recommend if you are looking for punctual service and attention to detail. Time to put the car rental services out of business like they should be.
1. No cars on the lot, as a priority member - you wait in the line MORE time then the non priority on the first floor. What's the point then? 2. They send cars from other places or something and you need to wait on the 4th floor for your car to arrive. 3. Second time this happens and the time wasted there is around 1 to 1:30 hours. Other rentals have no customers at the counters or very little. I will avoid AVIS and BUDGET in this location next time.
DO NOT RENT FROM HERE! I made a reservation specifically for a jeep. They day before I had to leave on vacation, they told me it would be another car. There is also no way to be transferred to the SJ Airports office over the phone. You are forced to speak to someone overseas.

Joke of a car rental place. First off, we waited in line for 20 minutes for the guy working the desk to acknowledge us. Secondly, the first car we were assigned smelled like someone smoked weed in it continuously for a week. We went and asked for a new car which was granted. I found it interesting the staff acknowledged that the cleaning crew had been slacking the whole day. Second car we got was FILTHY.
