Rented a car at SeaTac and returned it in San Jose a week later. No one around to check the car in. Had to catch our flight so we left the keys on the seat. A week later I am getting a $450 bill for excessive cleaning!! There was some sand in the front floorboards and that is what they are claiming is the reason. $450 to vacuum out some sand?!?! It wasn't like we left a ton of sand either. I should have taken it to the car wash myself for $450. That is ridiculous! And there is nothing I can do about it. Never again Budget.
20 people in line, 1-2 staff working. No movement and staff not friendly. All other venders had adequate staff and little to no lines but the budget/avis desk was a mess.

One person working the entire counter...at an airport took over an hour to rent a vehicle...this is a joke
My husband and I rented a car from Budget at San Jose Airport from Wednesday to Saturday. Unfortunately, our experience was deeply disappointing due to the behavior of the woman working at the counter during both pick-up and drop-off.
