DO NOT RENT A CAR FROM HERE!! I turned in a rental and put the key's in the night deposit drop,, evidently they gave the keys to someone without taking it out of my name. . I originally paid $317 for a week they ended up charging my credit card $1200. This place should be shut down.

Do not use budget Returned the car , 25 mins before it was due. Employee at the counter (tall male) on Aug 7,2026 at 11:38 am, took the car keys and has yet to close the reservation. I have not gotten a receipt and my deposit back despite calling 3 times now. it’s been 3 days since I returned my car. i have videos with location and time to support this Update: This has been a nightmare to deal with budget - they added fuel service even though I returned the car with a full tank. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET! We rented a Jeep Wagoneer, and even though it wasn’t an old vehicle, it was one of the worst rental experiences we’ve ever had. When we picked it up, the vehicle was filthy. There was trash left inside, and it was obvious it hadn’t been properly cleaned before being rented out. If customers are paying good money for a rental, the least a company can do is provide a clean vehicle. I had a prepaid reservation booked at the budget located inside the HSV airport on Glenn Rd. The agent (black male) had on a Alamo shirt but was assisting Budget customers turned me away because he thought my paper ID was expired but it was in fact the issue date and I kept stating that but he stayed firm and repeatedly said it was expired and his peer that was actually a Budget agent didn’t try to assist. I’m not sure was he new but I did not have the best experience and I was very upset!
