Rented a “premium suv” from budget. Called ahead of time looking for the ford expedition they said they had it in stock and just call closer to the date and they can reserve it for me. When I went to pick it up the expedition was extremely dirty and smelt of smoke. As a mother of 2 young kids including a baby I cannot put my car seats in a car that smells of smoke. I’ve really never experienced any issues that would cause me to stop giving Budget my business. However, this last trip I booked my car weeks before my trip for a pretty good price. Upon arrival, I was told my debit card couldn’t be used for understandable reasons. Thankfully I had a friend to save the day and pay for my car. Just be prepared to be frustrated. Lot is small. Someone almost backed into our personal car. The young lady behind the counter thought it wasn’t a big deal that I was going to overpaying five dollars for the rental car they were giving me; not the one I reserved. The one I reserved was not available- Great customer service - Outstanding … NOT I gave 2 stars to be fair I did get out of there within 15 minutes which is good for picking up a rental.
