We prepaid for a car rental. When we showed up they would not release the car to us. They told us to contact an 800 number and get a refund. They would not refund us online and at the rental counter they had to create a new reservation that was significantly more expensive. 0/10 recommend. Never renting from them again.

Guy at the counter is the most incompetent ignorant person I’ve ever dealt with. Awful experience from the moment you walk in. Gave us car with 3/8 gas tank and tried charging us when we returned it with 3/8 instead of full. Car had no floor mats because supposedly that’s an “upgrade” so carpet was a bit dirty even after we vacuumed it out and he charged us for cleaning fee.
