We just picked up a car at the Hopkins budget location. I drove the car approximately 1 mile and realized there was something very wrong with the car. The left rear wheel is rubbing or something is wrong. The car is so loud you can barely hear yourself above the noise of the car. Secondly, the car absolutely reeks of smoke. I had the same issusse Scott had I rented a car from this location in August 2024. Had it for two weeks , no issues, and returned it with no issues. In mid-October, I got a notice from Budget claiming there was "tire damage" and that they were charging me over $900 for alleged damage. I contacted Budget to ask for evidence and documentation of this alleged damage, but as of yet have gotten no answers. In the meantime they have charged my credit card for this so called damage.
