THIEVES!!!! I left an item in this car weeks ago and after calling the company and them decling my phone call for weeks I decided to call from a different number. When they finally answered and we pressed them about my lost item they got dodgy and panicked on the phone, putting us on a long hold before picking back up just to end the call. I continue to call from an unknown number and they decline my call and send me to voicemail which they never return. Rented a car in Buffalo NY. On the passenger window behind the driver seat, there was a note wrote on the window from Budget mechanic/techs stating: "battery dead" on 8/28/25. charged now "good". We drove all the way to Virginia and then the car died. Battery is dead. We had to call Budget, They called roadside assistant and we waited about 1.5 hours and had the battery charged. Made a prepaid reservation last week, arrived 10 hours late because of flight delays. They didn’t have a car for me, but they had my $. Called customer service today & they did give me a full credit to be credited within 3-10 business days. While on phone, the automated system said that my reservation had 24 hour grace period to get the car. At what hour did they give my car away? Who knows. There’s some shenanigans at this location.
