It sucks I have to post a crappy review cuz I really like the office people but before renting from ANY budget please read my review carefully. I rented a 2024 Silverado from July 19th-July 30th. We got the truck at noon, loaded it up and all got in. Mind you we have two kids 9 & 10, a german shepherd, and a lab mix. The kids were supposed to ride in the middle and one window seat so the shepherd could lay on the other side with the seat that folds up. Plenty of space. Made a reservation for a van, one way from Michigan. Reservation was made in advance, availability of the particular type was confirmed. The day of pick up, my wife recently called the van that the van is out of service. We were offered a different type of vehicle, but for a higher price. It took a call to headquarters to have the problem resolved - they approved a bigger truck for the price of the van, to which this location would not agree. The car smelled like weed. They tried switching us to another vehicle, that one also smelled like weed. They said that the other car they had would smell even worse. So they ended up giving us air freshener. We sat in the parking lot spraying the air freshener and trying to air the car out for half an hour because we had a baby under two years old.
