When I got to the Budget desk at COS, the customer service woman was not overall friendly, but I wanted my car, so ignored it. She tried to get me to upgrade and when I wouldn’t she told me that she only had electric car in economy. I told her that I did not want it, so she told me I needed to upgrade. I had a frustrating morning dealing with scam charges. While waiting on my flight, I had to call customer service and wait to get through to someone because they charged me a refueling fee, even though on the receipt it clearly says we rented the vehicle with 17.4 gallons in the tank and returned it with 17.6 gallons in the tank. YEP! We returned it with more gas than was in it when we got the vehicle. We refueled at the nearest gas station, which is 1.8 miles from the airport. Customer service at the airport was extremely rude. They tried to scam me into paying for another car, saying “my car wasn’t there” because I arrived 30 minutes early, and they kept trying to convince me to upgrade. I said no, but when I walked to the lot, there were three more Ford Expeditions — the exact model I had reserved from the start.
