Horrible experience at the Melbourne Florida Mall location. The agent snatched the key out my hand and hit my arm trying to close the door as I tried to hand her the paperwork and told me to get out then way. She also refused to give me her name. I submitted a complaint. Unacceptable for Budget to have such people working for them.
Location is an hole inside the Melbourne mall and privately owed. I believe the guy working is owner, Jarda is his name(older guy from some other country). The van only had about half a tank of gas and the back seats were folded down and it was extremely dirty. No car wash or detailing or vacuum done. He extremely overcharged me for an extra two days! Terrible experience picking up a rental this past Friday at the Melbourne International Airport (MLB) location in Melbourne, Florida. My reserved EV wasn't there, and the agent gave two entirely different stories as to why, completely unapologetically. I was forced into a gas-powered SUV downgrade that I didn’t want, and the employee still tried to upsell me on a gas package despite me explaining that I had an electric charger ready at the house. Customer service agent at Budget Avis rental booth in Melbourne square Mall is the rudest man I've ever spoken to in my life. Never again will I go back in that kiosk/store. That man needs some customer service training and sensitivity training. Where in the world do you hire these people from this guy came out from under a rock.
