took my 2003 caravan to "budget' for new front brakes .....soon after they call me to inform me that I need all new brakes all around ....new everything rotors ,drums calipers pads shoes .... $2500 more than the van is worth ..... ...so I agree to the work to be done with the understanding that I am paying premium price ....for parts ...turns out they installed cheap Amazon parts 3 set of rotors 2 sets of drums 2 sets of pads ...I had to take my van back 4 times and needed a complaint with conversation with a nice woman from... read more
A dealership recommended that my front brakes pads needed replacing. I was leery and took it to Budget Brake and Muffler for a 2nd opinion. Mike Nagra and his team inspected the brakes - nothing was needing done! In fact, a lot (!) of life left in the brake pads. Kudos to Mike for being open and honest. Could have easily done something that was not needed and charged me a few hundred dollars. Thanks Mike. I will be back to your location when the brakes do in fact need done!
I was referred by a friend who just went into this shop for emergency repairs days prior. Mike was professional and honest - prices were definitely reasonable. He even lent me a loaner car since I had no way of getting home while I waited for service to be completed. They were super quick as well. Recommend for sure.
