Excellent location. Relaxing. Wonderful surroundings. Quiet. Wildlife visible in the area. Beaver off the back porch. Excellent sky conditions, took photos of milkyway from back porch. Excellent and consistent internet. Host were wonderful.
September 7-15, 2025 Absolutely beautiful setting and cozy cabins! My husband and I stayed in cabin 4 for a week. It is the smallest of the cabins and perfect for 2-4 people. The area is breathtaking and the owners and caretakers are wonderful! Our daughter was married on Saturday at the Wedding Tree and we were able to rent all 4 cabins for the guests! The cabins are a long drive from anything. That seemed like a good thing when we booked it, because I thought it meant getting away from the tourists and into some great privacy. Unfortunately, that's not the reality. After driving nearly an hour away from everything, you arrive at a bunch of cabins right on top of each other. There is no privacy or real sense of remoteness. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Budges' Slide Lake Cabins. If you're looking for a place to stay off the beaten path with plenty of privacy, quiet, and beauty, then this is it! We stayed in Cabin #2 with 2 queen bedrooms, 2 twins in the loft, and a queen pull out couch in the living area. Everyone had a bed and the 2 bathrooms was great for our family to be able to all shower quickly in the evening and get out first thing in the morning.
