Could not have a better hospital experience. Staff, organisation, facilities the ultimate.
Every single staff member I had encountered from the reception, surgery prep, and post op were so incredible and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and calm. This was my first ever surgery, and first time going under anaesthetic which I was petrified about but they made me feel so so safe. After waking I couldn’t stop crying due to how smooth the process was and how well looked after I felt despite the staff being run off their feet. I like to thank all nurses in the ICU who were looking after my wife especially James from the night shift. A wonderfully caring nurse indeed.
Disappointing. There is never any thorough exploration of issues. Have a friend who was discharged with multiple complications and on presenting at SCUH has had incredibly thorough care and investigations. Buderim Private would not be my recommendation.
