I've been with Buddy's Home Furniture for about 3 years now. And I've missed one payment as we speak. They have been blowing my phone up. They don't care that I got robbed. I said can I pay next month," they tell me that corporate would not allow that". Which I don't understand, I've been on time with all my payments, it's not my fault that I got robbed!!! My kids won't have anything to sleep on. Hell I didn't even pay my rent because I got robbed. By they are willing to let me pay them next month so why can't Buddy's?
Spoke to the Raleigh store. This store in Fayetteville is permanently closed yet their IV-R will connect you and tell you that the voicemail for Fayetteville is full. Doesn't it look like they would just remove that store from the directory???? I called 2 days...what a waste of time . Just thought they were busy.
They are defiantly a bunch of con artists.. They've went thru several store managers in a matter of time. Every time a new store manager comes they try and increase your payments and also extend your contract.. They started me a new contract without my knowledge, I didn't even sign it trying to add more money on to a mattress set I had for two years upon threatening to take them to court the head manager become irate and begin talking to me and treating me like a dog. These people are scam artists. They will tell you anything to take your money and then don't hold up their end of the bargain. Now their name is changed to modern home furnishings to fool people because they scammed too many people. It's still the same employees so BEWARE! Places like Conns and rentacenter are better and honest people. If u don't believe me just go to these scam artists and see for yourself
Went here to rent a laptop for school and I should have known something wasn't right. First of all there was a roach coming out of the Nintendo ds in the display box. Then once I got the laptop I wanted asked if they had a case for the laptop and they didn't have one mind you it was raining like cats and dogs. to put the icing on the cake when I get home to do my homework I had a to listen in to a lesson from my teacher and guess what NO VOLUME checked out all the settings and still didn't work.
