Okay, first of all – we’ve never done a rent-to-own in our lives, but Buddy’s had what we wanted, so we thought, “Why not give it a shot?” (Spoiler alert: BIG mistake.) We paid the $100 to get started, feeling all official and ready to furnish like grown-ups. Then the girl working there says she needs references. Cool, no problem. I send them over.
