Fishy sushi and bad service – So, I've been to Buddha's Favorite before, and remember it being alright. I went for a friend's birthday, and was really disappointed with the sushi. The cooked rolls were good, but anything with raw fish tasted fishy. We actually sent one roll back after we all agreed it was not edible. We had to flag the waitress down to take our drink order, and on a separate occasion, our food order. Getting the bill and having her ring it up also took a very long time. cute place Its very hard to find, and very small, but the atmosphere is BEAUTIFUL. Its run by a young couple, and its super cute. I recommend going there for lunch.
Sushi Restaurant I highly recommend Buddha's Favorite. They have excellent sushi and their prices are reasonable. It is a small place so call in advance to make a reservation or expect a wait.
Good food, Fun spot – This restaurant is a fun little spot on the pier. The atmosphere is great. Because of the way it is arranged the restaurant feels really intimate and it is nice to sit out on the balcony surrounded by boats on a summer night. Seating is somewhat limited so I'd suggest making a reservation if you can. Its worth it. I had the cold noodles and tempura. It was a lot of food but it was simple and delicious. Fun Restuarant on the Bay Buddha's Favorite is definitely a local's spot since it's hard to find, but it's a great little place right on the water. The sushi is pretty good and affordable. Plus there is seating on the deck, and blankets provided by the restaurant to keep you warm in the evenings. They have a great Lobster Burrito roll that is on the Specials Menu. I definitely recommend going!
Look, or you just might miss it – This beautiful little restaurant is located on Lido Island, and is a little tough to find. It's right on the docks behind another seafood place and across from the Cannery, with no big advertisements that it even exists. We got there by word of mouth and still almost missed it, and we would have missed out. Because it is right on the docks near the end of the bay, it has a mellow, candle lit atmosphere. A cool sushi place tucked away in Lido Worth seeking out, Buddha's favorite is a great little sushi bar next to the Blue Water Grill in Lido, with excellent chefs and very good fish. Their roll creations are excellent too.
Fun Place! – This place is really small but it has a charming atmosphere. For those who love sushi, you will be able to taste a variety of rolls, also for those who don't like sushi, they provide regular japanese food too.
