Unfortunately when we were there the bleachers were under constructions and there was literally nowhere to sit. We put down chairs and tents in the maintenance areas. Luckily that meant we had access to power outlets used by maintenance for our fans to help combat the heat.
Lets have a showcase baseball tournament here and make families spend a ton of money... but not tell them that parking is .5 mile away and not tell anyone that the bleachers are closed, and both teams have 1 20 ft bench to sit on together... oh yea, and no bathrooms... just 1 porta potty....outside.. in summer... with a heat index of 105..
I cannot wait for 2026 and the first phase of renovations at Bud Metheny. I visited ODU Baseball's home field many times in 2024. Excited for Monarchs Baseball this season!
