I have trained at several BJJ gyms and for me, Budō stands out as a truly unique school. The professors are highly technical, attentive and actively supervise students during drills and rolls making sure everyone is learning correctly and safely. I dropped by for a class at Budo while on vacation. I was welcomed by the entire team, everyone was incredibly friendly, and the instruction was top notch. I was really impressed. If you are nervous about starting Jiu jitsu rest assured that this is a safe, fun, and welcoming gym.

Of all the gyms I’ve checked out over the years, BUDō is the one I’ve chosen to call home. The instruction is exceptional; it’s technical and creative while still being accessible to people at every level. The culture here really sets this gym apart. It’s a friendly, ego-free environment where people can train hard, learn, and have fun without feeling intimidated. Highly recommend, whether you’re a beginner or have been training for years.

Did (and still doing) some of the no-gi and gi fundamental classes. Long story short, the instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful! Questions before each lesson are encouraged during the classes, which is a great way to hear about an instructors' perspective on a Jiu-Jitsu topic.
