Very professional and a excellent surgeon. Did surgery on both my hands for carple tunnel 3 years ago and it was successful!
My daughter fractured and displaced her wrist at 11 years old on the bars in gymnastics. It was bad. But the Dr.’s in the Quad Cities would not listen to us. They said it just needed time to heal, a year after her accident with significant pain remaining. We got a referral to Iowa City and had to wait 9 months to see Dr Buckwalter. He immediately tried the more conservative method of wrist injections (and it did work for one shot). After that stopped working, my daughter was finally able to get surgery.
