RecommendedGreat hike. Make sure you check the weather first, don’t want to be in there during a flash flood. First part of the hike before you get to the gulch doesn’t have a lot of shade so take plenty of water. There are two ways to get in to the gulch. You can stay on the trail that takes you straight in. This way you have to climb over a big rock or the other way is you go up and over the obstacle by taking the higher trail to the right.
