I like the pizza here, but being called an a-hole by the owner is another level of service. I walked in and waited on my pizzas and noticed an older gentleman behind me was asked to pay $81 for his meal. I thought it was odd since I was in front but I didn’t think much of it. We both sat there for another 20+ minutes and when his ticket was finally done, a different person brought his pizzas and salads up to the counter and told the older gentleman it would be $81. LOVE this place! Buck’s Pizza is one of those little downtown Tryon gems you’re just so glad you found. It’s a tiny walk-in spot—nothing fancy, but always busy for a reason. I've had both the Margherita pizza and the oven-baked hoagies, and honestly, they’re fantastic. The flavors are spot on, and everything is always fresh and hot. Excellent pizza!!! Great flavor and crispy! I think this the best pizza I have had in many years.Dave Portnoy should give this a rating, one bite everyone know the rules. 10/10!!! Also, very much enjoyed the Greek salad! Excellent service too!!!
On vacation in landrum we had delivery from bucks, very fast and possibly the best pizza i’ve ever had. It was hot when we got our order and the wings and sauce were really nice. Great service and great food👍
We order from Buck's every couple of weeks. He's quick to respond via text & quick to prep. He has a great attitude (which I wish more people in the area had) & the food is outstanding. Job well done!
