I had large fish, small chips 13.20. Ordered and paid in advance online. I arrived 5 mins early and my takeaway was ready and waiting. The food was still hot when I got home - a 6 min drive. Fish was very good, nice crispy batter and plenty of flaky white fish. The chips were very disappointing; relatively crispy on the outside but dissolved and tasteless on the inside. I'd award 3.5 stars overall.
Best battered sausage we’ve had on our trip! We tried battered sausages at several different spots across England during our holiday, and the one here easily beats them all. The fish and chips were really good too. But the highlight was definitely the owner: super friendly and very chatty. My partner and I had a really fun evening and ended up staying for a long chat with him. He even gave us some great tips on attractions to check out in London. Highly recommended if you are passing through Chippenham! Thank you Steve. Robe... read more
Terrible fish and chips burger no better. Over cooked fish chewy edges and dry curry sauce glupy and not hot . Chips were the only acceptable element. Also the cod portion was not a large one which I did order.and they forgot my salt and vinegar. Sorry it was the most disappointing fish and chip meal ever.

It was cold and unclear whether it was still safe having them taken almost 1.5 hours from cooking to getting to me. I appreciate the delivery time is not their issue, but sending out food they opening admitted to me was cooked an hour before is no... read more
