Chris is a talented barber but one of the least friendly people I’ve ever met. He takes no care in getting to know you and seems pissed you’re even there. I’ve seen him around 10 times since moving to Seattle so it’s not a one off. Horrible experience. Jan 2nd 2026 11:30am - Hostile front desk person with the social skills of rabid honey badger. There were 4-5 stylists and no other clients in the shop. I was a walk-in. I walked in and greeted the front desk ogre. After starting to check me in, I said “I have to step out for a couple minutes.” and he said: “Well, we have limited time to do the service (no other customers in the shop) and you’d be cutting into your time. Nico absolutely killed my haircut! I was going for a new style which I was nervous about, but it turned out great due to her attention to detail and thoroughness. Not to mention, she was very kind and fun to talk to!! I also have curly hair which is more difficult to deal with, but again, she nailed the cut.
