Went to my first event yesterday, an intimate "fireside chat" with Rennie Curran, former UGA star linebacker. Not knowing what to expect, I walked in and was immediately greeted by Stacey, the executive director with a smile and warm welcome. After an impactful talk from Mr. Curran, a handful of members of the association came up and introduced themselves to me and we each had comfortable talks that made me feel very welcome.
