Do not purchase a house within this companies area. I swear if there’s a light gust of wind or the neighbors dog farts we lose power. Ethiopia has a better power infrastructure than this company. They don’t clear the lines. They don’t clean up after themselves. They don’t give accurate etas for repairs. They don’t care if you have a newborn and have no power. I repeat if you buy a house in Jackson you’re better off hooking up a donkey to a generator and using that. Or aep/city. It’s not worth the headache.

Day ? Hours ? of no power just a thunderstorm. High rates. Can't speak to anyone unless paying a bill

We moved here in March and just in that time our power has been out at least four times. We are currently without power since Friday 27th @1:45 My mother in law lives with us and is on oxygen, a ventilator and a food pump she's supposed to be a priority, but instead we have to run converters from our vehicles. And finally had to purchase a generator. And already have plans for a generac system. If you don't have to use this place you definitely shouldn't. Buy a generator, bc you’re going to use it every month, these clowns tack fees on your electric bill for no reason. Wouldn’t surprise me if people in Florida who got hit by a hurricane get power before BREC gets there act together
